In the summer of 2018, we had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with internet sensation PewDiePie to create a line of officially-licensed ugly Christmas products. With over 109 million fans, PewDiePie’s influence made this partnership a perfect match for viral marketing. This project aimed to engage a massive fanbase across the U.S. and Europe while showcasing both our brand’s creative capabilities and PewDiePie’s fun, festive style.
PewDiePie’s expansive product line included sweaters, shoes, pajamas, socks, jogger pants, beanies, and more—all of which required his personal approval. With him based in Europe, the time zone differences added complexity to the collaboration.
Despite the challenges, PewDiePie’s team gave us creative freedom, empowering us to craft designs that resonated with his audience. We also built custom landing pages for the campaign, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for his fans.
